Question Cooking: Create a way so that certain cabs are ran automatically after a flash???

Ok so I need help, if this is at all possible; I am looking to set something up with my cooked rom so that certain cabs are ran or installed after a flash. How do I go about this, can anyone offer some advice?

Thanks in advance!!!

Re: Cooking: Create a way so that certain cabs are ran automatically after a flash???

First off...for XDA_UC:

You need to find a ROM that is compatible with that. The chef should have it posted on hte download post letting know whether you can use that or not. I'm running Juicy's and it is XDA_UC compatible.

1) create a folder in your storage card named: XDA_UC
2) drop any cabs and other tweaks/hacks/settings into that said folder.
3) all will be installed to your device as the device customizes the first time.
4) if you want cabs installed in your SD card...you'll have to create a folder named: SD inside your XDA_UC folder.
5) from there you'll get asked where you want to install those cabs.

this is from what I've read...I learned AFTER a recent hard reset. Pls use your search function...cuz I'm sure you'll turn up more info on XDA_UC. If you search Sashimi in the forum...you'll find plenty info on that. You can also Google Sashimi and you should be able to locate the download (not the food item.)

Do you know how to create a reg file so that I can use with Sashimi in order to load registration keys for my programs? Or is that a part of Sashimi, I haven't been able to find that information.

Thanks again!
