Disable HTC Notification Manager

Does anyone have a cab that will disable HTC notification manager? I'm running a 6.5.x ROM and I feel its no longer necessary with the new microsoft notification toolbar.

Re: Disable HTC Notification Manager

here is a cab i made to disable htc notification manager at the top bar.

for those that want to do it manually via registry:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER]
add dword Flags with value 4

soft reset.

I found a way to deactivate it (I just hate this new layer), but it's a bit ugly : in the registry, go to HKLM\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER and change the "Dll" value to "NotificationManager.dll.bak", then soft-reset.
Explain what you mean ugly?
