I've had the TP2 since a week after it came out and I haven't had any issues what-so-ever. I'm still on the 15$ unlimited data plan they offered 2 years ago at x-mas! And just a quick side note, the new network isn't HSDPA, thats a european standard, what we have here is the HSPA+ standard, its the first step the the LTE (Long Term Evolution) network scheduled to be released sometime in 2012!

- SAME problem for me.
Got my HTC TP2 on Friday.

I unlocked it and flashed to mighty ROM before activating it. I thought that was the problem, but it sounds like others are experiencing the same issue.

Just RE-FLASHED mightyrom (newest update) and web/data seems to be working again!

I've been having this problem since Nov 5th. I don't think I'm ready to flash to a new ROM and hope for the best. I wanna actually try the stock rom with DATA and see how that work. So far I'm quite satisfied with the stock ROM. I JUST WANT MY DATA!!! :(

update... data isn't fully working for me.
getting weather updates, but web is not working, nor is email.

Guys, call tell them that u had a friend that had the same issue. it turned out to be his profile on the network was corrupt. they will delete it and rebuild it and be done. i had the exact same issue. they fixed it in 3 days.

try this
Pull the battery for 15 min. this will cause the network to drop your phone. then replace it. boot and dial *22803 then dial 1 for English and then 1 again for provisioning.

see if that works. they may have already fixed ur issues but if u don't pull the battery it wont take. ur phone has to drop off the network so it can be reset on there end.

been having the same issue everyone else is having.


thanks juggalo_x. took a shot at doing the whole reprogramming. it all went-thru, phone had automatically soft resetted.. still no data.

was told to take the battery out for 12 hours as it takes the network that long to refresh it self. Been doing this every night and still no fix. I keeping putting my user name and password in for the data connection just like Telus rep told me to and no change.
