4. The phone sticks up at 90 degrees so it is hard to read sitting on my desk.
5. I don't see a light to let me know that the extra battery is charged. as soon as I pluged it in the blue light and green light turned on. If I take the battery out the green light stays on.

I'd like to get a charger that rotates 90 degrees so i could use the phone in landscape mode

It would be nice to be able to open the keyboard.

Would also like it to tilt back 15-20 degrees.

But for 25 bucks or so it's not bad.

I was looking for an smiling face with a magnifying glass to show this was a review but couldn't find one.

Got mine today also. Phone is a bit awkward to seat in the cradle (no case) but works OK. You kind of have to 'find' the connecter to get it to fit in the bottom of the phone. Angle is good for me since I have it raised next to my monitor. Most important feature for me is the extra battery charger. Haven't used that part yet.

Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.5(Microsoft Windows; PPC; Opera Mobi/16643; U; en) HTC_Touch_Pro2)

I got mine as well, I am not going to use it.
The build quality is good but I don't like the angle the phone sits at and maybe it's just me but it seems like the cradle gives very little support to the phone, like if it wasn't for the USB port it would fall over.

This one looks pretty good. Out of stock right now. Actually this site has a nice selection.

Re: New Verizon & Sprint TP2 Cradle Out

In the picture, the USB is a universal one, not squared off on the left side like on our TP2s, could any of you who have received the cradle confirm please?

Re: New Verizon & Sprint TP2 Cradle Out

If you do a google for Sprint "HTC Touch Pro 2" cradle, and look in the shopping section, you can find all kinds of them, including the one thats out of stock up there. Even amazon has one listed.

The lights stay on all the time. There is no difference between battery in or battery out, battery charged or battery depleted.

Also whether the phone is in or out charged or discharged doesn't matter the blue and green lights are on all the time.

Re: New Verizon & Sprint TP2 Cradle Out

It IS a universal USB (so the one that came WITH your TP2 will not work) I wish it tilted back further but that's not a major issue. I also wish it had some more support, though, as it makes tapping and such a bit difficult.

My phone also does not fit in as nice an snug as I would like and it seems to lean a hair to the right.

I have the cradle on my nightstand (use the phone as an alarm clock, too) and the blue light in the stylus hole is a major pain. Casts a big blue circle on the ceiling! If you stick the stylus in the hole, well, the stylus is clear plastic so the blue light goes right up it and you have a 3-inch tall bright blue wand casting light all around.

I will probably just cover the hole but kind of defeats its purpose.

There is no audio out on the cradle, either.

It's good for now, but I may be checking out new cradles as they come available.
