What type of speeds are available on Cricket? Would a Sprint phone be limited to 1X or would full 3G be possible? Thanks

It depends on your coverage area I get 3g(evdo) Speeds where I live.

I am having trouble with the installing the rom. When i plug the phone in and connect it to activesync (windows mobile cus i have vista) it connects and the rom utilty reads it then it turns the phone into a screen with 3 colors and then the rom utlilty says no phone connect and activesync doesnt pick it up i unplug and reconnect and it starts and the rom wont take. any suggestions. please been trying myself for about one week now

Figured out the rom flashed like three different ones and have one that is pretty cool features. some flaws but learning to deal with it. anyway i have one more question. How do you install a cab???? i even loaded a cab installer and cant install that.

Cab files are self installing but must be run from the device itself. Go into your file explorer and click on the cab file to install it.

I now use the Mighty Rom because the SSK kitchen is no longer available. Works amazing you just have to skip the provisioning if using it on CricKet.

forgive a bit of ignorance....i am guessing that you would have to drop in the cricket carrier cab (presuming dcd), appropriate PRL and then install the arcsoft?

I went to a local store today and they said that flashing a TP2 to cricket is not possible....thought that was silly....i have not flashed for awhile (been very happy with my XV-6800 flashed over to Cricket) so i am a little behind the times....thinking of using a bit of Tax Refund for a new toy! Has anyone written a specific TP2 ROM for cricket? i have searched and havent found one.....Wow! i have been away awhile!!!!!!!!!

You will need your prl you may be able to download it somewhere but the directions I have given will make Mighty mikes rom work great with cricket.
