I just go to start>settings>today & check "use this picture as the background"

Then browse to whatever image I want.

Isn't this just for the home screen doing it this way? I am after getting the image on the start page. Again does anyone know what santod meant when he said this....

Ok, here's how to change the START menu background! Simple.

Turn off TF3D and then set an image for the background, then turn TF3D back on and your good to go!

What does he mean set the image?

I also replied in the other thread just like this one.

The method we are talking about, only works for the START menu background on WinMo 6.5

This method will not work on stock WinMo 6.1 rom.

ok im after the start menu that comes stock on tp2 sprint ... pic in that background !! ive seen it done somewhere and never asked, guess i droppend the ball

Sorry, but I'm gonna sort of necro-bump this thread cause I'm about to flash a 6.1 rom & I wanna know if there's any way to get a background pic on the programs menu. That's the only reason I keep using 6.5, honestly.

I too would like to have a background on my programs list.
Am on stock vzw 6.1 rom.

I messed around with 6.5 on HTC Apache phone (6700) but wasn't all that impressed with it.

Hoping WinMo 7 will change the game for M$ and make it work while again.
