I was just going to add that. I tend to wait for updates before tweaking the ROM. As always love the work being done here and the efforts by all. This forum is the reason why I stick with Sprint and hold on to my phone for at least 2 years.

what i meant was prl last i knew mighty said he was still working on it. because running update prl gave a "bootstrap error unable to obtain device id"

if for some reason i never get the prl updated, would there be any serious ramifications? as it is now, i almost always have full bars, and i dont think ive ever dropped a signal completely with my tp2(or any sprint phone for that matter)... how much of a difference could there be in the updated list as opposed to the last version

Well i am not running a ROM right now still have the stock how do i get this update the most easy way?

there is update firmware and update profile i take it you mean update that?

To answer the noob questions,
PRL is Prefered Roaming List. It is a list of tower IDs that the phone is allowed to roam onto when it can't find a usable signal. The list gets updated regularly as new towers are built and new roaming agreements are negotiated. An an update may do nothing for you at all if there aren't any changes in your area. A really old list may cause some you to not be able to roam in some area or your phone may try to roam onto towers that Sprint has no current agreement.

still does not tell me how to update it if i am doing it right by doing the update profile since when i do update it my prl does not change.

cause when i do update profile it does not change my PRL it still is the same.

Isn't there an Update PRL link in addition to Update Firmware and Update Profile?
