Sorry if its considered a "NOOB" question, haha I just went in my settings and updated my PRL's on my own...... But I dont have a clue what the hell it is for lol

I see someone in this thread said they updated their PRL with the cab also in this thread. I looked and don't see a cab posted in here. Just the zip file of the PRL update. I know its late, but am I missing something???

Are you running a custom rom? It won't work if you are running on MM's.

What rom are you running on?

I'll post the cab, but if you want to make sure it'll work and don't want to end up with a couple of shortcuts that won't work, check this prior to installation.

Goto settings, all settings, system, device information, identity tab. Make sure you have T7380 as Device No. there.

If you have that, this cab should work.

press +778 and check it cause it doesnt work on mighty s , energy's, or juggalo_x. so maybe cfay knows something they don't. but i even tried stock exe's from stock rom. was a no go on all mentioned above.

then again my device id says T7373 lol

##778# works on mighty ROM. you just have to install carrier provision cab is all.

I am on Mighty's Rom and placed the file on the root of my storage card, and ran the ##775#. Entered my MSL, (which Sprint gave me) and it worked! I used to have 0-1 bars in my apartment, with the Airave I had 3, since the PRL updated I have 5!!! Thanks so much!

*I got sprint to give me my MSL when my data connection wasn't properly working.

Question: What exactly is PRL for?
and when I update the PRL and if I flash to a new rom does the update stay or do I have to update again?

anybody who did it the way of placing the file in the correct folder is doing it the old skool way. Just hit the update prl button and it will work, so much easier. if you don't have update prl, install the above cab and your good to go. but of course if you like dropping a file in a folder then placing a call go right ahead.

i have mighty rom with sprint provisioning cab and when i installed the above posted cab i got an error msg.... any thoughts?
