Re: [BOUNTY] To whoever can find a fix for this...

Well I am glad I am not the only person who is experiencing this problem. Disabling automatic send/receive will solve the problem however that is pretty much defeating the purpose of having the ability to automatically check in the first place. Stock roms have this problem licked so there has to be a way to solve this, hence the reason for my reward to the person who does.

Re: [BOUNTY] To whoever can find a fix for this...

I remember this irritation on my old TP. I have been using a Treo Pro since(it never happened on it). My TP2 should be here any day now. I hope it doesn't show up again.

I am offering $100 to whoever can find a working fix for this. If you need more details, PM me.
if you go into the settings for the email account are there any numbers added to the end of the server names? I had a similar problem with gmail on a custom TP ROM and removed the numbers at the end of the server names and the issue went away!

Nope, here are the server names:

Incoming: imap.mail.yahoo.com
Outgoing: smtp.mobile.mail.yahoo.com

Re: [BOUNTY] To whoever can find a fix for this...

I have the same sort of problem on my Mogul running WM 6.5. Only diffrence is that instead of a empty tmail screen I get tmail poped up as if I started it my self. It only happens when it automaticly sends and receives. I have to close tmail to go back to what im doing.

Re: [BOUNTY] To whoever can find a fix for this...

I used the HTC DebugTool and narrowed down what seems to be the culprit. This is what I found int the process log:

application - [Manila][Application][810111] New foreground window (0,52) - (480,748 )name:Messaging, class:Inbox.MainWnd, module: \Windows\tmail.exe
application - [Manila][Application][810122] Window visibility status changed: 0
[Cpu] 100 810152 03E4F7C4 8F34FC80 00037350

I am a little unsure as to what I would be looking for next but hopefully someone can point me in the right direction!

Re: [BOUNTY] To whoever can find a fix for this...

I know I get this issue as well from time to time, but I also had a server exchange email, a windows live email, gmail, and gmx.com email. i think it was tied in to my windows live mail.
