HELP! Phone reading Texts out loud

I just upgraded my Verizon TP2 to windows 6.5, now for some reason the phone reads the entire text message out loud as soon as it is received and I cannot figure out how to disable this. Any help is appreciated.

start>settings>personal>voice command. Make sure that it is set to announce notifications through bluetooth handsfree only or you can disable entirely.

Even better is when your wife texts you to tell you that your toddler just mastered another step in 'potty training'. That robot chick voice sure is hilarious when she says 'poop'.
