If you want your own wallpaper and still want the fullscreen weather animations you need to create a wallpaper cab with HDWalls or goto the thread where there are several made up already.

are you running 2.5 or 2.1? I am using 2.5 and it works just fine.

good point, 2.1w/weather animations requires the HDWalls as of now..

weather animation with any background it's for manila 2.1 with weather clock

I'm glad it kills the animation, it slows everything down and looks pretty fugly if you ask me...

actually simple cab / replacement of manilla file corrects the problem without the installation of additional software:
