ok, i think im understanding this...one question tho..is there a way to save all of you settings like backlight settings, ringtone, things like that...basically, what i would like to do is load one rom, get EVRYTHING set up the way i want it (all programs and settings for both the programs and the settings) and then if a new rom comes along be able to load all fo those previous settings to the new rom...can someone help me with that

if your cab has an additional step after the normal "ok" it will hang on install and necer complete. If there is an additional splash screen that appears it will also freeze. For you people waiting for the UC to complete and the bar hasnt moved in a while youll need to go through the cabs in your list again one by one and look for an extra step on the install and remove them.

+1 for sashimi. love it, havent fully set EVERYTHING up like i want though, ill have clear some time to set it up

JK I use it for quickly adding in programs/settings that I use all the time. For the rest, mostly registry tweaks, I made a .cab file.

absolutely. it installs cabs fresh, kinda like you install them yourself instead its somewhat automated. i havent got around to using sashami for registry and xml yet, i have reading to do
