I mentioned my phone doing this several times since it happened a few days ago but nobody seemed interested at all.

What does it mean when it says it tried to dial #777? My data still, and always has since flashing, work fine so I've just been ignoring it.

I know.. ive been trying to get peoples attention for the EV to 1X flashing back and forth issue either.. The lack of conversation in the IRC room is also mindboggling.. kinda a downer. Once the unlocker came out everyone turned into a bump on a log. Great support..

Mighty Mike is working on getting a PRL Updater for us. There is no ETA posted but that should fix the issues that we are having here.

Q: How do I do a PRL update on this ROM?
A: Mighty is working on it, stay posted.

Until then the solution is to flash back to stock, do the PRL update and then flash back to your custom rom.

What's wrong with your EV 1x icon? Mine does flash back and forth but it depends on where I am.

It also of course flashes to 1x when I'm on a phone call because EVDO is disabled when on a call.

I assume that you don't have a custom task bar. When is yours flashing back and forth? What rom?

i have had the same problem for 2 days, installed the cab and updated profile, then prl and has worked great since then. p.s. i have sprint.

I haven't had this issue at all...are you guys all in the same 'region'? I'm in West Texas...No issues here at all except the occasional #777 that I have always had from the tp1 to now...very occasional like I said tho....and usually whe I am out of range of a cell tower..I'm using Energy ROM Leo from the 3rd...stable vs...

What rom you on?

Stock or Custom / WM 6.5?

I tried few cabs and they don't work at all.
