Re: Connection Error Sprint Dialed #777

I had the same issue on MightyROM yesterday. Actually had to flash back to stock so I could use the ## codes to reprogram my phone completely. It works again, but looks like it's possible that I could have the problem again.

Same thing here, it happened last night....I am noticing a pattern, I couldn't even after a hard reset and the tech support rep tried to do it manually with the ##3282# and the phone wouldn't even go in to ESTP mode I think it's called?????

Re: Connection Error Sprint Dialed #777

I had it through out yesterday night and thought I did something to screw my connection up. Not that I am glad I am not the only one, but it sure is nice to see I am not insane. I had to reflash to stock, did a PRL and Profile Update , then Flashed back to Energy Leo ROM (Nov 3), things seem to be working fine for now. I suspect the SIM Card inserted, I think it tries to get some kind of settings sometimes. And I have noticed that when the SIM is inserted , my connection is so SLOOOOOW, or it stays a lot on the 1X connection. I would take the SIM out completely if I knew how to get rid of the "No SIM" icon at the top of the Taskbar, if anyone knows this please help us.

Thanks

Was in the process of doing the exact same thing while I was reading your post. Works for me too...who knows how long though!

Again, steps are:

Flash to stock ROM
Update PRL in stock ROM
(Data should be working after the PRL update)
Flash to desired rom (ONLY ENERGY FOR ME!!!)
Should be working...

But again, we'll see for how long...

Yeah, I really wonder why the error occurs in the first place. But I am strongly suspecting that SIM CARD. Does anyone know how to get rid of the "NO SIM" icon on the taskbar?

Thanks
