Re: Are You Stickng With Stock Roms Or Flashing?
Eh, stock is good. Although i do want to get rid of a bunch of crap from it that i wont ever use. Juggalo's ROM comes the closest to that. Once its out of beta i'm sure it'll rock.

Re: Are You Stickng With Stock Roms Or Flashing?
I've noticed some performance gains with mighty mike's rom. Nothing earth shattering but it's a little snappier.
There is also way more free space on the phone itself. No bloatware is always nice. I also enjoy customizing. |

Re: Are You Stickng With Stock Roms Or Flashing?
I went back to stock rom.
It's difficult to invest time setting up all personal preferences in a build and find bugs along the way. With stock rom, you basically had no choice for awhile and you know what nagging issues there are, while with cooked roms there's bugs waiting to be discovered. Right now i'll stick with stock till 6.5.1 is out and cooked w/ some time to crisp. It seems odd to jump into 6.5 for a short period of time. |

Re: Are You Stickng With Stock Roms Or Flashing?
I'll be sticking with the stock ROM, and this type of thing is exactly why I always do. I love trying out the ROMs as a geek, but when it comes 8am on Monday, I have to know I can get through the day with stability, and the chefs are constantly tweaking and tuning their work (which is great if you have the time to invest in it, lol).
For those who do stick on stock, you're always welcome in my Cleanup thread.

Re: Are You Stickng With Stock Roms Or Flashing?
For now, I'll be sticking with the stock roms. Reading some of the other threads suggests to me that some of the other offerings are not ready for primetime yet. I'm too busy to be flashing, testing, reflashing, testing some more, etc. etc., so on, so forth, yadda yadda yadda.
I'll be keeping my eye out on the Energy rom as that seems to be getting the best reviews so far. But for right now, it's stock for me. |

Re: Are You Stickng With Stock Roms Or Flashing?
I flashed to 6.5, but then later last night went back to 6.1 and couldn't be happier. I faced the same delimna with the Touch diamand and made the same decision.
