First of all thank you very much for the
MMS Cab, and hope you had a blast at
the Halloween party that you went to.

Is there any chance that you can add the
vzw server settings and increase the photo
size in the Cab, then post it?

I've tried for a couple of hours today to increase
the size limit of the photo's, and it will not allow
anything over 300k.

The funny thing, these setting were working for me, and then I installed the Verizon Keyboard settings (which didnt get my SYM button back, by the way), and now i cant get it to work again.

I just reinstalled the arcsoft cab, and redialed the *228 and hit option 2, which is what I did last time. AND i reg edited the stuff to increase the size limit.

damn... it was working earlier... and now it doesnt.

for the record, im not SURE if installing the keyboard layout is what did it in, but i cant think of anything else that would have thrown it off.

EDIT: Ok, i cleared out previous messages it was trying to send.... and now it works again.

man, next time a new ROM comes out.... ill prolly flash it straight way. yea, i havent learned anything.

I haven't tried it yet, but I know with my Vogue we use dto have to set the server connect via the internet... that may help somebody

Keep getting the message too big pick a compression size and cant get any of the suggested registry fixes to stick. for some reason they keep reverting back to the lesser numbers. dang Arcsoft sucks so bad!

im not even using the newer version 5.0.90.127 because that like everyone has been complaining limits the message to 300k at least with the older one i can do up to 399k.

I updated it again to have a 1MB size limit, but I am still trying to figure out what server settings are missing. That's directly from my kitchen, which works fine for me.

I will look at it today as yesterday I forgot all about it and was working on my TP2 kitchen along with some PPCKitchen development stuff.

JooJooBee666, is there any way to see where the sending is failing? All it says is that it cant send the message, how helpful. Is it that I cant log into the server? Is it that it cant find the server? I am unsure and it makes it really difficult to find the issue. If you know of any logs or anything that I can look at I would appreciate it.

Manilla 2.5 is not able to work with MMS yet. Only 2.1. People keep trying but the functionality is just not there.

Hey Joojoobee, can you help me? I've installed and I only video messages as a picture and a sound file. Do you have an idea? I get pictures with no issue. Using mightrom on my TP2

I'm not finding where to enter that information in.

When I go to connections it only has My ISP and My Work Connection...

What am I doing wrong?

Go to settings>connections>connections>manage existing connections>select Verizon Wireless (#777)>next>next> enter user name (your 10-digit number @vzw3g.com)/ pass vzw> click finish


You should have a section above My Work Network...called Verizon Wireless...then click on manage existing connections.
