I didn't...The software verified it enough for me...I flashed MightyROM right after without a hitch...And I thought for sure I was going with Energy Photon....

We just flash a ROM and if it works we are unlocked. If it doesn't work we go back and unlock it for real.

All unlocked and just finished flashing the Energy ROM LEO Manila 2.5. Figured I'd try that one first since I've seen several posters touting the stability of MightyROM. So, I figured I'd go with one which has apparently a great cook as well but apparently more potential for "instability" even though minute apparently.

Failing that, as that did not work for me (Telus), press vol down and reset only...no power button. Keep 'em pressed until the bootloader appears.
