Sometimes my TP2 won't turn on !
 

I notice that when am using my earpiece and the phone turns of the backlight off its won't turn back on.. I know its just the backlight bcuz if I press the lef key it dials the last person I was talking too. But It won't turn on the back lights I have to soft reset everytime it does that.

Beside slamming the phone on the Floor J/K does anyone have any suggestions..

OK I fixed mines!!! It was the battery! I notice it was kind of loose so I did a home remedy mad getto LOL put a piece of paper to hold it tight in place and Ive had no problem since... its been now 4 days with no issue. Am still taking it back to sprint but since I did this Ive had no problems.

can someone help me out with this? now whn If I snap open the keyboard if its done hard the phone resets itself. this is not all the time it only happens if I snap it open. and sometimes when the back light goes off,.

it almost sounds like a hard reset or exchange is in your future. on a side note, you might want to update your profile. (still says you have a tp)

Thanks for the reply...but WOW that SUCKS! having to go replace it if the hard reset doesn't fix it... :-(

I experience the same problem. I believe its a hardware issue. Maybe if others post here with similar problem, we can confirm that its a hardware issue. A fault in the TP2 hardware.

i used my plantronics 590 with it and it worked fine..i was impressed that when you hit the power button, the music didn't skip out or stop, then start like it always did on the tp.

o0ps. Forgot to mention that am not using a headset but my phone's backlight does not turn on at all at times. When this happens, I need to do a soft reset.
