Did they give you a new TP or refurbish ?

I had an issue where the device's screen would not come on even though I could receive a call. A soft reset would be needed to have the screen come back on.

Mine turned out to be some old registry entries I had imported when I flashed a new ROM. Flashing the ROM and leaving out some registry entries fixed the issue for me.

Re: Sometimes my TP2 won't turn on !

I was wondering if there has been any resolution to this.

I just got my second TP2 three days ago (for my girlfriend) and set it up exactly like my first one (Mostly SPB stuff, stock ROM still). Worked great for three days then this morning she called and said the screen didn't come back on after a phone call !?!?

Soft reset and everything is fine again until the next call.

I don't have the phone in hand so I can't mess with it for awhile, but I was wondering if a hard reset fixed this for anyone, or did you have to get a new phone?

I bought this one used off of eBay, so I don't think the Sprint store would be much help, but I do have TEP on all my phones. Never had a problem getting replacements in the past. But due to Thanksgiving, it would be Monday at the earliest for a replacement, and she uses her phone ALOT...

HAPPY THANKGIVING !!! Don't eat TOO much

I had this same issue from day one with my first TP2. Called Sprint and got a replacement. Havent had any issues since....until.... I flashed Mighty's latest rom and the problem started to rear it ugly head again yesterday. Dont get me wrong though, not blaming his roms at ALL. Just giving background. I did a reflash and hard reset last night and it seems to be fine. If it starts showing up again I will try one of his previous roms. Unfortunately with my first unit, the unlocker wasnt out so I couldnt try a different rom to see if it would resolve the problem.
