Nope. Go into "All Settings" and click on the "personal" tab at the bottom of the screen and you'll see the icon for the VC app. You can click on the boxes of the portions of the phone you want it to control.

that should still be fine, i don't think it would be able to tell the diff, aux or headphone or car tape player jack etc.

and there's is a new s2u2 that should be comin out soon to help solve the batt drain issues (said 1 of the beta testers).

Have you tried out nitrogen player? Its music only but it has to be my favorite. Also there is a search app, not sure if htc includes it, but its in all the sys ive seen. Not sure how it works, i dont include it in my roms. I need to try it out.

wait so it's a search app in manila? or a search option in that prog u suggested?

Sorry I wasn't clear. I meant through the built-in phone's speaker/speakerphone.

There is a native windows mobile search app, not for songs, but it works for songs. No sure if there is one in nitrogen, but i will check in the morning.

Unfortunately its expensive , but Pocket Tunes is the closes to iPod interface Ive come across. I agree with Shizy that the HTC music integration is poor at best. If I have a TP2 with a 3.5 jack why do I need a seperate MP3 player. Im just about done with the trial and I think Im gonna buy the software.

You know what, at first I dismissed this thread as silly banter - the ROM chefs aren't writing and developing new code and applications, you're barking up the wrong tree, dude! They just combine apps and make subtle registry and theme changes to combine into a nice package.
If you want to see a new feature that didn't exist before, you need to speak to application developers, like A_C and the guy who is writing Nitrogen app.

But the more I think about it, the more I think a search utility would be pretty darned useful for finding music. Have them indexed like the way contacts works- start typing, and the list will be narrowed down in real time with each letter. Still, I like Voice Command, but that could be pretty darned useful. Should mention that in the S2P thread on XDA...
