Re: Wow, facebook integration = not that great
that is what i was wondering. i couldnt find any settings for it. i know on the hero there are settings ranging from i believe 2hrs to 24hrs. it will auto check for updates every 24 hours. there was no setting for a manual update. i imagine the tp2 is auto checking for updates at a set interval.

+1 for a Facebook tab. I can't find an easy way to work with it within Manila otherwise and end up hitting the m.facebook bookmark.
I agree that, from a notifications standpoint, Blackberry has it nailed, with it handled as a separate alert, etc. |

Re: Wow, facebook integration = not that great
i just wanted to say i love the app, u can also download the facebook application if u want as well, its free i know the sprint site offers it..... also i love just having the pictures updated, i have over 500 friends on facebook and i have a lot of them in my phone, im not one to look at everyones status on facebook or my phone, i just dont have the time or care for that, being my age (20) people call it stalking, though its public information, looking at someones status all the time is kind of creepy, though i know the drama girls do it =P, i do agree on the 2 lines for the status, i also dont think its a big deal to load the page (mines pretty fast). i do wish the app allowed for contacts to be downloaded to the phone via facebook phonebook to your contacts list. also this application is very good with detecting a name in contacts if its shortened or misspelled a bit, thou you have to almost manually do it. i personally love it, and its a step in the right dirrection, thou i do wish it was better.
