3.5 jack not working....help?
 

Hey people I have installed something or done something that has caused my headphone output to stop working...anyone else experiencing this? I installed a TP2 clean up cab from xda i think and it removed "links to sprint music store and sprint apps off of touch flo...so I cant even find the music app that came with the original setup....that had always worked with my headphones and jack, but now in Win media player you plug in and it still outs to the main speaker? any suggestions on where to look as I actually love the TP2 clean cab I installed just wish the 3.5 worked again....Thanks in advance...

when you plug something in does the headset icon show at the top?

you might be stuck doing a hard reset... unless you fried the jack.

it happened to me once. A soft reset fixed the problem.

This happened to me today after I installed the no push internet cab. A soft reset fixed it.

Nope actuaally no icon at the top...guess ill hard reset and burn a rom....lol..or atleast ill hard reset...thanks

yeah ive tried soft resetting 4 or 5 times to no avail....has to be something installed with that tp2 clean up cab...because thats all ive installed since it quit working...

Try inserting and removing the headphone couple of times, I had the issue with the sound not coming out from the phone speaker after i removed the headphones.. soft reset didnt fixed it, then I inserted and removed the headset jack couple of times, and it worked..

Oh great!!! I was hoping not to have to go that route again....hard reset done....i will know very very soon..

ohhh geee hard reset no fixxxy!!! WTF??? I baby this thing!!! and the freraking jack breaks in two months? GGGrrrrrr!

this just happened to mine. i installed the audio para cab. i saw a fix earlier today and im still looking for it. it can be fixed via the registry i just gotta find it again
