Re: Touch Pro 2, Windows 7 and questions
If you have a branded computer (i.e. HP, Dell, Gateway), you can go to the manufacturer's website support page which will lead you to the drivers specific to your computer model. If your computer is a home build, you'll need to go to the support pages for each of the component manufacturers (motherboard, graphics, audio, etc.) to find the updated drivers.

Re: Touch Pro 2, Windows 7 and questions
I just copy all of my important files(pics, photos, documents) to the external. That way no need to worry if it will be seen by the new os because it is the original file. That works for me. I usually leave them on my external because I do a fresh install once a month.

Re: Touch Pro 2, Windows 7 and questions
Typically you don't need too but sometimes drivers and what not get messed up during this process. That is why I always opt for a clean install. Besides with an upgrade you will get that ugly windows.old folder that will take up space on your hard drive. You can go from clean install to functioning desktop in about an hour. I know I can because I do it so often.

Re: Touch Pro 2, Windows 7 and questions
Usually at the manufacture website, but you can also find PACKS of drivers on the net. If a lot of stuff came preinstalled. Look in your C: and there should be a folder with the preinstalled apps ready to be reinstalled. The folder should be the computer manufacture name ie ACER FOLDER, DELL FOLDER

Re: Touch Pro 2, Windows 7 and questions
Just tell us what brand of computer you have? If you have a dell or something there is usually an asset tag on the back you can type in at the manufacturers website and it will give you the exact drivers you need for your hardware.
Just tell us your computer brand and model.
