Are there any issues with these batteries? i've never purchased "cheap" batteries from China sellsers before and I'm worried about the quality of these units... does anyone have a link to some inexpensive but not cheap HTC batteries?

+1 i been having mine for about 2 weeks....Allow 2 weeks for Delv from HK. But its worth the price if you need a battery. You get 2 plus a charger for half the price of a OEM.

I haven't tried one for the TP2, but I did buy a cheap chinese battery off ebay for my TP1. It was like $20. It also came with a standalone charger. But really it was not worth it.

a) I found that the battery life was significantly shorter than the OEM battery... at LEAST 25% shorter

b) the charger charged VERY slow... if I drained the battery to 40-50%, it would take several HOURS to charge fully

In the end, I gave the combo to a friend. I've only bought OEM spares since then...

Mine all work great. Package arrived 6 days after order was paid for.

- Charger isn't a speed demon but on the other hand it's very compact and convenient.
- Batteries are perhaps 15-20% shorter life, but as backups they work very well.

I stay away from cheap batteries & chargers. You never know what exactly you are getting. Personally if I am going to have a device that expensive, I'm not going to go cheap & get something that may be a cheap solution or may damage my device.

you know if you are getting less performance out of the battery & the charger doesn't work well the quality is in question. Remember there is a reason they are selling it that cheap & it's not because they want to give you the best deal.
