is there a working version of HTC Wifi Router for Sprint's TP2?

I tried using the one that was working on my Sprint TP1 but the installation always came out unsuccessful.

Mine installed fine. Are you using the one that's supposed to apply it to the comm manager as well? That one failed on install for me too. Here is the one I use.

sounds like a bad install maybe, unless its possibly an older version.....ver 1.35 works very well on my Sprint TP2

yeah i used one that included the comms tab as well.

i installed your link but i can't find the program/icon to open it up... :/

are you talking about WM WifiRouter or HTC's Wifi Router?

I can't say for sure if it makes a shortcut or not, but it should be in Windows\CMInternetSharing.exe

Works fine on my TP2

The HTC version works flawlessly.

the WMWIFIRouter, always breaks my internet and then I would have to soft reset..

Now that the HTC works perfect, I don't see needing any other programs. I mainly use it in my car, or at hotels, and I am plugged into AC power, and since the TP2 doesn't have the heat issues as bad as the TP1, I can go for what seems forever, since the charging circuit on the TP1 use to always cut out due to heat.

great, found CMInternetSharing in /Windows/. just need to find a way to make a shortcut to use in the Start Menu now

Using File Explorer, tap+hold on cminternetsharing.exe go to copy, then scroll up to the Start Menu folder and tap it, then go into Programs, scroll down to the very end and tap+hold in a blank spot, go to paste shortcut

Can you guys that are using the one integrated into the comm manager, or the HTC version, post it up?
