Can't send e-mail
 

I just upgraded from the Touch Diamond using Energy ROM on it. When I would send mail using my ISP's server's and putting my authentication in for sending it would work just fine. However I now have the Touch Pro 2 and it will not work, keeps saying to check user name and password when trying to send. So what I'm wondering if there is some kind of registery setting or hack that allowed this to work on my Touch Diamond running the Energy Rom?? Anyone else had an issue like this??

sounds like a typo somewhere in your account setup, go to your inbox, tools, options and click on the email addy you want to check. go through all of the setup keeping a sharp eye out for typos.

ok. did you set your email account up on the TP fresh by entering all the info yourself or did you use a backup software to copy it from your diamond?

Please take a look and verify that you have selected for outgoing messages to be authenticated. Had your exact problem myself and checking this box in my account settings corrected it.

All fresh setups. All my POP3 accounts though this ISP have the same issue, however like I said the same 3 accounts were working send and receive with the Touch Diamond.

Whats the ISP since you say all your accounts are affected?
