Automatic Send/Recieve for Email not working properly

Basically if I hit Send/Receive i can get emails to my phone, but the automatic send/receive schedule is not working right. I have it set on ever 60 min, and i first suspected a problem when i got an email and checked the time...it was from 3 hours ago. I would assume that I would get an email no later than an hour after it was sent soooo....what's the issue?

I've also noticed that through the night it has never updated. I think the latest i got an email notification was around 11:00 and then the next morning at around 745 i got a few more sent to my phone from all kinds of random times....does the phone automatically stop checking emails between certain hours? Is there a way to turn it off?

I thought it might be my 'data disconnect after' setting in HD Tweak but if that was the problem it wouldn't download when i hit send/receive manually, right?

And it's weird that it does work sometimes, just not on the schedule i set it at...

Re: Automatic Send/Recieve for Email not working properly

I also thought it might be S2U2 but i had it on my TouchPro as well and it worked fine. And like now I can check my gmail account and see emails from 3ish, 5ish, etc. but they are not on my phone. And the email that I read on my phone has not been registered on the gmail server so it still says unread when i log in.

Re: Automatic Send/Recieve for Email not working properly

Well I found something that might help me, still need to wait and see how it works over time

found this thread, used the info in post #5
http://www.mobinauts.com/topic/10612...ch-hd-part-10/

basically i started running into a problem where it wouldnt download emails at all, so when i went to all settings>connections(tab)>connections(icon) it came up with an error about messed up shell 32.exe so i turned of TF3D and reset my phone then turned tf3d back on and i can download emails again. still gotta wait and see if they keep downloading every hour though

Re: Automatic Send/Recieve for Email not working properly

I guess no one can help with this problem or is experiencing anything similar....

i deleted the account and remade it and so far it seems to have fixed itself...the only changes i made were i updated some of the options immediately i.e. download emails from the past 30 days, download all text no pictures, etc. and I also made sure not to hit the manual 'send/receive' and just let it work on its own. i'm not sure if either was the problem or if it will continue to download automatically, i can only hope.

Re: Automatic Send/Recieve for Email not working properly

Yea it's still not working. I went back to check and some of my managed folders that are supposed to be syncing at the same time at my inbox didn't even download all the way...for some reason it was stuck on 'will download next time you connect and receive email'....

SOMEONE PLEASE HELP THIS IS FRUSTRATING

Re: Automatic Send/Recieve for Email not working properly

Have you done one single hard reset? Considering you have been having this problem for a couple of days and no one has answered, why don't you try that? Plus, it sounds like it maybe something software related, what did you install?
