Goodbye my TP2 Friends!

I have moved on to the Hero! I just no longer needed a WinMo device, and wanted something that would wow me, and after 3 days of extensive research (playing around with Hero) I have traded out for the Hero. I got the TP2 for free, so I have lost nothing monetarily, but I will deeply miss all you TP2 users and tweakers. I hope the Hero forum will be as forward moving inovatively as the TP2 users are! peace-br

BTW, the hang up button on my bluetooth device works perfectly with my new Hero. No tweaking!!!!

Yeah I hear ya, but I was sick of the lag from WinMo devices (and dont argue that) plus my TP2 froze up on me to the point of soft reset at least 3 times in a week period. I am tired of trading them in... So onto greener pastures my friends!

Like my youngest sister always tells me "WHATEVER", you'll be back. So go ahead and enjoy your little hero fix, I can respect that but once these phones get unlocked you will find away to come back with another tp2 so you can start flashing with the rest of us.

EDIT: I hope the unlocker comes out tomorrow

I have to wonder what causes these "freeze ups". spb mobile shell was the only thing to make my phone act up. But anyways, good luck with your new toy.

Did you see this........Seems that the HTC Hero has been shipped with an error that shows that the device cannot connect to EV-DO Rev. A. This is an error that HTC will be addressing soon with an update.

I came from the 800w (my first WM phone), and thought soft resets were just a part of life. I mean, at least once or twice a day I was soft resetting that damn phone...and I had nothing installed on it...completely stock.

This thread got me thinking...I've not had a freeze up the entire time I've owned this phone (1 month running)! To be honest, I've used this forum alot to trick my phone out. I bet I have 10 to 15 things installed to make this phone look awesome...still no lock ups or freezes.

I almost hate to post this for fear of jinxing this very stable device!

**On a side note, the wife is ordering the Hero on Thursday so it will arrive before the weekend** Looks like I'll have to learn a little about Android so I can walk her through it.

9 years with Sprint, and we finally have awesome phones! Gotta love the direction Sprint is headed...
