this is a rather interesting thread. i have ties (and children) older than most of you.

ah. just as my almost 15 year old son would have said. he tells me all the time that age is bull as far as respect goes. yet. he's flunking every class, refuses to do homework and still wants adults to respect him. life is funny for sure.

Age is not bull, not the exact same term I would use though. I'm 21, doing 6 college classes, and passing all of the with a B or higher, I work full time and 7 days a week. Age is nothing but a number.

Most young people are immature, i joined the service at 17, got married at 18 and had a federal job, had a son etc.... Most people couldnt do that young or theyd be divorced etc.... Im 26 still married to the same girl, finished 6 years in the army and have 2 kids now in which one is 7.........


lets face it, most people cant do this, but im proof as in yes ya can....... anythings possible, yes some youngsters are maning up....

57 here, and I still like new toys, the only difference now is I can afford them.
I was lucky my first child (son) was born in '77 and we grew up together on computers, played Zork, on a Radio Shack Trash 80 computer, and have had every DOS/Windows version computer ever since. my first Mobile phone was a radio phone where you had to get the mobile operator to connect you.
