Asurion already has refurbished Sprint PRO2s

I dropped my phone yesterday and I cracked the bezel next to the lower mic. hole. I filed a claim and paid $100 and they are sending me a refurbished one. I was hoping for a new one, but it is what it is

they are probably just returns, not defective devices.

wonder if anyone got my damaged tp2 as a refurb yet lol it had a huge blue dead pixel in the middle of the screen

Make sure to check the refurb status ##778# and click view

if its a refurb, its required to say YES.

most of them going out are not refurbs, theres simply not enough in the WEL yet

so when i go in to get my TP2 today, i wont get a box or anything? just the phone, battery, and stylus?

Refurb means they have repaired the unit. They are not just going to take your broken return and send it back out to someone else. They will replace what is broken, test it and ship it out as a refurb.

If they are upgrading you from a TP1, you will get a retail package.. if you send in a broken tp2, you will get a "refurb"

sweet. i am upgrading from a TP1 so i guess i should bring my box in to fully swap everything out then. cant wait!!!
