Well mine works the same as it did on the touch pro.We did have people making a post on sling.com and having people vote on it for them to update and make the screen bigger.Heck the iphone has a nice screen why can't we? but again the people on iphone wanted it where the people with the touch pro just take what they give us and right now it is crappy small screen

Don't hold your breath waiting for them to fix this, even when they DID come out with a new version of SlingMobile it STILL didn't support VGA (never mind WVGA)

It's too bad the HAVA is such a POS, or I would consider switching to that setup.........

Yeah, thats normal as of right now. Its just the difference in the screen ratio and if it filled up the screen it would just stretch everything out. Kinda like a full screen image being stretched out to fill in wide screen. Also, even though slingmobile works well on the iphone remember that the iphone has far less of a resolution than the tp2 or even the tp1 for that matter.

worst part is when I'm using it in my car via navigation system

TP 1 plays full screen but TP 2 looks gimped as he'll

it really is a blow as a new TP 2 owner

it starts full screen if you have hd version I think

upgrading from classic to old pro box was worth it imo

Is it red? then that's not the HD. The slingbox HD is different.

Old Pro w/ HD cable should display HD channels @ full screen also.

If you have classic w/ it's basic vid out connection to cablebox, HD channels would display w/ black borders because of the RGB(? not sure what it's called, but 3 colors) connection.

If you have better vid out option equal or better than the component(5 colors) cables it will sling will display whatever is on TV to whatever system you are using.

The problem is with slingmobile software for windows mobile I would think. As of right now the maximum resolution supported is 320 by 240(4 by 3 ratio), thats it. The reason why it showed full screen on the tp1 is because the tp1 has the same screen ratio at a higher resolution of 640 by 480(4 by 3 ratio). The tp2 has a resolution of 800 by 480(5 by 3 ratio), so slingmobile is displaying a 4 by 3 picture on a 5 by 3 screen. So therefore no matter what type of slingbox you have at home, your slingmobile software on your phone will still do the same thing which is have black bars on each side. If the tp2 had a screen resolution of 800 by 600 then it would fill up the whole screen since it would have the same screen ratio of 4 by 3
