HELP: HTC Task Manager's "Enable 'X' button to end program" turns off @ Reset?

Ok, so with my Sprint Touch Pro 2, every time I reset my phone, HTC Task Manager's "Enable 'X' button to end running program" gets checked off, so the X button only minimizes programs.

It's a minor inconvenience to have to enable the X button every time, but I would like to be able to make this stay on permanently. Any ideas?
