Verizon Battery Cover with Sprint TP2: Works! with a catch.
 

Well, I just received my Verizon TP2 battery door cover and it works almost perfectly with the Sprint TP2. However, there is two issues.

#1. the battery door cover, while it fits, the tab inside the battery cover near the MicroSD card slot doesn't quite fit perfectly. It appears to be maybe a 1mm too big, so it creates a sort of "bulge" on the side of the phone, maybe if I can find a way to shave it down a little it will fit perfectly.

#2. the bulge is bit there on the other side too but there are no tabs, so maybe fixing the first issue will fix this one.

I'm guessing that's maybe the bulge that Telus users are describing on their battery door covers as well?

But other than that it fits, just not as perfect as Sprint's cover.

theres no buldge on my verizon cover. been using it for the past week or so.
just need to get the verizon logo off it lol.

my stock sprint cover did have a very very slight buldge that i couldnt see but could feel it if i ran my finger across it.

my VZ cover is smooth as can be.

Damn, now I have to figure out what differences in the covers make my VZW one bulge....maybe I can take it back to the store and exchange it?

FWIW, I have the Verizon phone and I've got a very minor bulge on that side. It's hardly noticable. Not sure if we're looking at the same spot, but mine's up closer to the reset button.

If you dye it black (which in my opinion makes it look much better), it completely covers up the Verizon logo. You have to turn the phone and let it hit the light at just the right angle in order to even be able to barely see that there's a trace of something there.
