But you should note that simply dying the cover will not black out the world map (the poster in the above link painted over the map). Other pictures in the thread show the back with the map. I personally like the map on mine.

It's an extremely easy process. It took me 20 minutes and cost all of $1.78 plus tax for the dye at Wal-Mart.

mines has a bulge too but i dyed it black and isn't that noticeable because it blends in with the black border...however when i turn that son-b*%h sideways i can always spot it

had the wife pick up the dye this morning at wally world so ill dye it hopefully sometime this weekend.

Well, I guess replacing it won't make a difference then since it's just the design of the cover. UGH, I Can't stand that bulge enough to not even bother using the cover. Unless I can figure out how to fix it, I guess no VZW cover for me.

I wanted to keep the 2 tone look but I tried sugaring the verizon logo off. No go for me.

Im going to dye it black now.

I have a slight bulge also on my Verizon cover which I didn't really notice til this thread. I shaved the tab and no more bulge. Thanks for the heads up!
