As a spin off to that, Sprint TV has Sprint Radio built in to it, and I listen to my local morning show at work as they don't let me stream on company equipment and I get no FM reception inside. Also Sprint/TeleNav is very good. I know there are better navigation software out there, but I get this packaged in on my data plan I and it has never failed me. Sprint NFL network allows me to follow my Raiders in virtually real time visibly and it connects me to the Oakland radio station that broadcasts the game. I don't use Sprint music store or Nascar but what I do use is really good.
So... Better? don't know but I love mine and you most likely love yours. That's all that matters.

Thx for the info i didnt kno i could listen to local stations either. i never actually play with the radio app..lol anyhow TVM

I use the World Card app frequently. Are the other providers including it in the software load ?

Re: The king of Windows phones in the U.S

I finally gave Sprint Navigation a try the other day and was thrown off when I chose the option to speak my destination, and the phone started dialing some numbers I was unfamiliar with. I said, "OHHH, SH!T NOW!" and hung up. LMAO. I was not expecting that at all. Actually, I thought it would behave like Bing's 'speak' function. And THAT it dosent. After getting over the initial shock, I "disguised" my voice and gave it another go. lol. It worked pretty well.

Needless to say, I'll stick with iGo8, but it was definitely an interesting experience. Perhaps iGo should implement a similiar feature. I think its been a long time coming, eh, Navigon--or whoeverthehell makes iGo?

Oh, and Sero users would definitely understand what it means to be King.

Sero + $199 TP2 = Me Love You Long Time, Sprint!

Re: The king of Windows phones in the U.S

I have a Sprint and dont have to remove the back for soft reset, thanks to ShutXP

As for 6.5, I can wait a month for the official version

SD card....I never touch, so thats no big deal.

And well, the Sprint TV/Radio/Nav and 3.5mm jack has already been mentioned. And insanely better data coverage.....Sorry, Tmo has nothing on the SPrint

you might wanna try free groovefish...................

Oh, and I may be wrong but not aware of another provider giving World Card reader.....this IS an awesome app for business contacts, especially when someone only has one card on them....Every one I have ever shown it to, asks me where they can get the app. still pissed about no flash for the camera though

Would you mind explaining how are you able to remove your Sd Card without removing the back cover?

Very funny story, my guess is that Igo8 got jealous and decide to sabotage your experience with sprint's navigation.....also i second you on the King quote.....

Would you mind telling me how you program your local radio stations into your sprint music application for free ?
I ticks me off that other carriers give the FM Radio already in our phones to customers, yet sprint wants to charge us to listed to "their" channels.
they really should have allowed both. Sprint music and FM Radio. Our phone has the capability for FM Radio but it's locked. This would have been and excellent selling point just as Verizon's imagio has the FM Radio and a UHF or VHF TV reciever. Sprint needs to step up their game and give people what they want and stop letting projected revenue figures that they never reach drive their designs in the phones they put out.
Sure I can listen to internet streams, but thats not the same as channel surfing for a good tune to relax to while I pound out some code, on top of that if I even have a good Data signal. I would have never stayed with sprint if I knew the imagio's full verizon specs when I stayed with sprint and the TP2. Sprint is "OK" but GSM phones are all around better. They get the unlockers sooner, already a phone that works in most parts of the world, and coverage is good if you dont live out in the boonies, oh and FM Radio on all of them. All of their music outlets are there for one thing, $$. Not customer satisfaction. If I paid for an FM radio then I want an FM Radio sprint.
I would like to listen to Fm, contests on the air for free tickets, morning talk shows when I get into work too early, or accurate traffic reports when I make a decision on what time to leave the office.
So yeah at the time their phone was on top, not so much anymore.

I completely agree with you, i can say the same about the drivers for better performance on the Tp2 yet i don't think we will get neither one anytime soon...
