Re: The king of Windows phones in the U.S

If you like the NFL, Sprint's NFL software is something you can't get anywhere else is very top notch. I was blown away by the depth and amount of information that is available through it. There is no other NFL software for WinMo in its league right now.

Although I haven't used, I've heard the Nascar software is the same way also.

Re: The king of Windows phones in the U.S

are you kidding?
the article was posted september 4
a lot has changed since september 4
verizon releasing touch pro 2, att releasing touch pro 2 to business users

by september 4 the only companies that had touch pro 2 was t mobile and sprint. Not a huge comparison

Re: The king of Windows phones in the U.S

Hey guys... I am not here to agree or disagree, as I have never even seen the other versions of the TP2. However, I do have the Sprint TP2 and I have never had any problems with Sprint TV (runs smoothly all the time and when it doesn't it is Windows' fault and not Sprints, a simple soft reset gets me right back on track). As a spin off to that, Sprint TV has Sprint Radio built in to it, and I listen to my local morning show at work as they don't let me stream on company equipment and I get no FM reception inside. Also Sprint/TeleNav is very good. I know there are better navigation software out there, but I get this packaged in on my data plan I and it has never failed me. Sprint NFL network allows me to follow my Raiders in virtually real time visibly and it connects me to the Oakland radio station that broadcasts the game. I don't use Sprint music store or Nascar but what I do use is really good.
So... Better? don't know but I love mine and you most likely love yours. That's all that matters.

Re: The king of Windows phones in the U.S

For me, i will refer to Sprint as the king of Windows Mobile because they always carying almost every if not all windows mobile device available in the U.S. .

Remember the ppc6600, ppc6700, ppc6800, ppc6850, ppc6875, ppc6900, ppc6950, Palm Treo 700wx (first Treo with WinMo in the U.S.), Palm Treo 800w, and Treo Pro, that a huge list I know i have miss atleast one or two..

I know that for a fact because i had them all.....

Also if you compared Sprint seem to have more smartphone available (past and now) than any other carrier.

just my opinion....

+1 on the Speakerphone quality. I NEVER used the speaker phone on any phone I've owned. I tried it out the other day with my g/f and she said she could hear my just like I was talking into the phone, wired headset and Jawbone.

Re: The king of Windows phones in the U.S

sprint & verizon are the only TP2's that have the 3.5mm which is a huge aspect of the phone for me, plus the reason i like the sprint version better than the verizon because the speaker is better and the look of the phone overall. just the back cover alone looks better than the rest....

Thanks!!!! I had no idea i could listen to my local stations through sprint radio. I don't get my main station which is KTTB B96 which is all hip-hop but i can get KDWB which is okay. Whats nice is you can listen to radio stations from other states and there are wayyyyy better radio stations down south and on the west coast. This is bad ***. Thanks again

Re: The king of Windows phones in the U.S

I would have to say the sprint offers the most with there Touch Pro 2. No other carriers seems to be able to go head to head with the features they offer!!!! Sprints TP2 is KING
