They clearly sent me the GSM version as it has a small round hole on the RIGHT side. The case fits great & works just fine however & will do until the seidio innocase becomes available (the one I really want)

Since this case is clear, the light sensor works fine even though there is no hole for it.

Does it still fit in leather case or do you just throw it in your pocket?

I use this case CLICK HERE & it fits perfectly. It was a little snug the first time I slid it in with the clear case installed, but it slips right in & out now.

This is a really nice case, I have used one since back when I was using xv6800's & I love it. I bought a new one when I bought the TP2, but my original xv6800 case still works just fine & the TP2 fits perfectly in that case also.

I am thinking of getting one of these if I cant find a good fitting case soon.

I honestly do not know yet on account of I haven't received it. I will let you know once I find out. Did someone tell you that the zagg case will not let you tilt the phone up?

Re: Snap Case for Sprint TP2 Question

Thanks for the response from y'all.

The reason they don't say the case will fit for both sprint and verizon is because they don't even know if it is true. As you can see on my last post, I do have people complain that the front cover will pops out when use on the sprint version TP2.(although the complain ratio is very low)

With all you input, what we can assure now is that the case nakedcellphone sell DOES NOT WORK. They will give you a case with sensor hole open on the right(while the sensor is on the left in reality). I know as a fact the case will fit to your phone perfectly, but the sensor will not function, ie. the screen will not turn off when you hold the phone to your face. They are getting away with it because some people simply doesn't know/care.

Due to my high interest on getting the answer on this(for business any personal interest; I just love to know the truth). I would like to supply a Verizon TP2 protective case to some Sprint Tp2 owner who would like to test them out. I know it is not anything expensive; I just want to gather couple who is interested to detail the result to others on this forum.

I am looking for 4-5 members who are interested doing this. Please PM me so we can arrange.

bostonshaker:

They will never replied you, because they know it as a fact the case does not work, and they do not have a correct case to replace you with....nobody has the right case as of this moment.

My recommendation is to file a paypal dispute ASAP. If that doesn't work(sometime Paypal are just bias) file a dispute with your credit card company, and get your money back. Negative feedback it so other who is buying the same case will know(doesn't work too well; but better then nothing)

They finally got back to me and refunded the purchase price, but I still had to pay for return shipping, which I don't agree with. They sent me a request to cancel the transaction history, but I didn't do that. If you do that, you can't leave the appropriate feedback, which may be why their feedback is still so good.

Ok so I got this case that said it was a Verizon/Telus case at a mall by me. I told him I needed a Sprint case, and the guy said this will work and it did. I paid 25 bucks for it ...but here it is on ebay for much less.
I attached a few pics of it.

thanks for posting the pics, It looks just like the ones that were pictured on the link I posted earlier . I see no reason why they should not work just fine . It appears yours fit properly and snug. I am not sure what someone was referring to as a bulge on the back of sprint phone . The only bulge I see is where you would attach a belt clip if you wanted one . I'd say thats fairly normal on these type cases as was on the mogul and TP. Thanks again

Yea...The guy who sold it to me said they are selling the Verizon cases to the Sprint users...I dont know..it Fits!..so I'm happy.
And the bulge on the back is tiny ..it's meant to screw in this goofy bigg *** clip...so I just left it off.

Re: Snap Case for Sprint TP2 Question

Well, I wish I had gone back and checked this thread again before buying the naked cell case and paying for it (darn my annoying sense of quick payment ethics), because now I'm thinking I am screwed. I just got confirmation of the sale and then hopped on after to see that it has likely been shown to be incorrect. Sent an email to naked asking to cancel the order due to the likelihood that this is not appropriate for a CDMA version of the phone, but I'm not optimistic that he/she/it will do the right thing and refund the purchase. Boo. On the bright side, just checked out the Zagg you guys were talking about, and it looks pretty cool. PIMPSUPRAZX, let us know how it goes when you get it. I heart ppcgeeks :) If naked doesn't cancel my order as requested, you can bet I will eat the cost of the product in favor of blasting him/her/it in feedback to warn others of what we have learned here.

Thank you for your picture. Yes everything does look fine on your picture. In my heart I always beilive that they are as a matter of fact same, but the couple complains I have is telling me otherwise. Anyway, we have enough people on the testing program and we will be send out testing product within this couple days. Hope we can get a more definite answer from them, as well as the problem(if there are any).

Re: Snap Case for Sprint TP2 Question

Naked cancelled my order, so I have to give him/her/it props for that. In the response he/she/it noted that it was the only case that he/she/it knew of that would fit the Sprint, which leads me to believe that naked is not necessarily being underhanded, but maybe just doesn't know any better. Either way, I think maybe the Zagg is the way to go for a truly "naked" phone. Anyone else have feedback on using Zagg? I can't really see a downside to it.

Oh, they know for sure that it doesn't work w/ the Sprint. I have sent them e-mails and finally got my money back. I still left them negative feedback since I had to cover my return shipping AND they still won't admit that the Sprint TP2 has a proximity sensor on the left side and are basically telling me I don't know what I'm talking about.

Yeah, you're probably right. I'm just glad they cancelled my order before sending it out, but I feel for bmrisko for having to deal with the nasty return business. I actually just got my HTC TP2 today and can't wait for the HardSPL to be available to flash my favorite NRGY ROM onto it. Anyone have any idea when that puppy will be available? And, I'm with PIMP, I think I'll go ahead and pick up a Zagg cover.

Question for those Sprint users that are buying the Verizon black Rubberized case from nakedcellphone on ebay. Is there any noticeable scratches anywhere on the phone (sides, back, front) that the casing might have done when you temperately take it off? Reason I ask is because the same case I had for my Diamond scratched the sides, nothing big or deep, but you can see the small scratches around.

$30 is pretty high for a case like that when Siedio's Innocase is $19.99 and looks better. I wonder how good the glove material actually feels compared to a rubberized coat.

That body glove case looks tempting but does anyone know if it makes the phone real bulky. The picture of the body glove shows it being thick, so don't know about that. I would be satisfied getting a simple rubberized case that fits the sprint phone fine, but all this mix up on ebay and some being no longer available, makes me look for alternatives.

made my tp a little bulky, but hell, inside is all velvet feeling, and then its a plastic case, then coated in rubber. For those of you who spent an arm and a leg to get one of these, spend the $30 something dollars and get something to protect your investment.

Did you carry your phone with the body glove in your pocket? See I want to carry my phone inside my pocket but if its too bulky, then it will not be comfortable I suppose.

i did some looking to see why they would put the hole to the right of the ear piece. Other than thinking it was for the 2nd camera of the GSM version, I think it is for the light sensor. I use Pocket Shield, and set it to unlock on light. Went into a dark room and with a small flashlight went from left to right. It unlocked when it hit the right side of the ear piece. Maybe we need a case with holes on both sides. One for proximity and one for light sensor. Any thoughts?

Hello Jortiz9758,

I saw this post of yours,
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...8&postcount=53

just so you know, the black ones from nakedcellphone on ebay have a white interior, not black. They fit perfectly, but it sounds funny, but I bought one for my wife and she didn't like it because the white edges are very visible. (you can see what I mean if you look carefully at the pictures on ebay where they show the keyboard) Your case looks to be entirely black (looks nicer than the nakedcellphone)
The clear one from nakedcellphone made her happy, but I am looking for all black

I really would like the find the case you got online, any Ideas (store name of where you bought it in the mall maybe?)

Thanks!

I have received your test case that you shipped me and I have to say there is absolutely no issues that I can see that inhibit a good fit on the Sprint Touch Pro 2, other than if one case slightly differs on the casting from mold on the top half of the case. The clasps(clips)
that are on the left side of the top case ( looking at screen) do not clip all the way under the edge of the phone case itself. I believe this is by design however as it seems it would
make it very difficult to slide the keyboard out without poping off the cover if they went further. All buttons and sensors line up and are easily accessible. I find the case is more than secure enough to protect the phone. I The top does come off easily but not so easy that it pops off on its own. It might pop off fter falling on the ground but it would have already done its job in the initial hit. I would recommend these cases as very usable until a more advanced version might hit market, but right now, they work just fine. (except the clear is not too cool :) just my opinion on the color.

I too received a blue test case and IMO, the top cover on mine does not fit as well. It is almost like the top half of the cover is not deep enough and when I put the phone in my pocket, it wants to pull the top cover off. If I received this case as labeled to fit a Sprint phone, I would probably seek a refund. The back half fits perfectly, but the top does not snap on and is not secure enough for everyday use. If the top half was just a hair deeper, it would work. I'm surprised since I thought the Sprint and Verizon versions had the same hardware, at least in overall shape and dimensions.

Thank you for your response. It there any way to tweak during install to make fit? As Lefty11 mention, the problem is possibly related to the top left clasp(which is along side of the sensor), maybe clapping that corner first will make a better fit?
I am trying to work with the manufacturer, but sometime it is very tough to communicate with these people you know...
