What is the voice quality like when speaking through your Icon? I picked up one yesterday, and am very disappointed thus far. My voice sounds tinny, muffled, and breaks in and out. I've tried the different ear pieces, switched left to right ear, etc. I am ready to return it and try a different one, hoping this one may just be defective. Thank you |

Re: Bounty for working MS Bluetooth stack on TP2
I had the problem that music would play beautifully over bluetooth, but the connection would cut out when making a call. I have a JVC KD-HDR30
I tried many different ROMs but recently discovered that if I DISABLE THE DATA it works perfectly! When not coupled to bluetooth, the phone can receive or dial out calls without problem, irrespective of the data Only when the phone is paired to the bluetooth, the data must be shut off entirely. I downloaded a program called "nodata.cab" which ensures that the data is disabled when I drive. I'm not sure if the problems of others could be helped by disabling data when using bluetooth, but it has been a big improvement in my life. |

I did come up with a workaround solution: I deleted the stereo audio profile after pairing the devices, and now the hands free works as it should. Of course then I can't stream audio via bluetooth, but I can live with it for now. Now if only I could get the phone book transfer to work....ugh. Last edited by batpot; 02-07-2010 at 03:52 PM. |

Re: Bounty for working MS Bluetooth stack on TP2
Dunno if ya'll are aware, but the new Verizon ROM fixes the Bluetooth issue. The problem is that now I'm stuck with a stock ROM again until someone incorporates this fixed stack into their ROM.

Does MobileSrc MobileRemote work now? Some things may be fixed, but not all. It still has a Widcomm BT stack. I do believe we still would prefer a M$ BT stack. |

I wish Voice Command would announce the incoming calls. It was useful on my Touch Pro but this feature is lacking in the Touch Pro 2. I didn't know it was the bad stack until reading this thread. I hope the problem gets fixed. |
