does it really matter anymore? i lost interest in an official ROM when i heard 2010... it was alright running 6.1 when we had no choice, but now... custom ROMs ftw

Since AT&T released their version of the TP2 with 6.5, technically Microsoft's press release is correct. They didn't say ALL CARRIERS would release 6.5 in OCT/Nov.

hey so this a good question...when 6.5 finally is released, can you run ur back up info from 6.1 on it using spb backup??

You probably shouldn't, it could cause a lot of issues.

AT&T has 6.5? Why not 6.5.1?

I think the big thing would be to base custom 6.5 ROMs off the stock ROMs released by the carriers, and also to get updated carrier cabs for things like ArcSoft and then carrier specific software as well.
