6.5 October/November release for TP2!!! Microsoft confirmed

Well, Germany JUST got theirs, I'd say U.S. should be close. Verizon head that I spoke with said by months end for sure. Who knows for sure though!

That Microsoft statement means nothing. I doubt we'll see it this year. It'll be the start of Q1 2010 before we see it.

Can you really do that with SPB Backup if we are going from 6.1 to 6.5 and backup/restore all the 6.1 registry to 6.5?

Yup yup... It's up to the carrier, and I have mostly heard Q1-'10 for Sprint. Not holding my breath as I am running Mighty on 6.5 already.
