Sounds to me like it's up to the carriers and we still have not gotten a date from them yet.

I Guess that as always the carrier will have the last word on this, let's just hope they move faster that they have historically.

You'll see the TP2 start shipping with 6.5 installed end of October according to a Vzw rep I spoke with with is right about 75% of the time. So if they are shipping them with 6.5, I'm sure they'll have the update out as well.

If you notice Vzw, ATT and MS are all now pushing WinMo 6.5 commercials, this is coming very soon.

we haven't heard that from sprint. Someone supposably heard that from sprint. The same way someone though the TP2 was going to be released in august for sprint lol. Until i see a press release or something on there website i believe anything is possible

Microsoft shouldn't have wrote that update until they spoke to all carriers who carry the tp2. Of course its up to the carriers to have the last say but microsoft updated their website for a reason, it says november latest so it will be out november latest, short and simple. Why is everyone making it so difficult?

My Sprint Rep tells me they are stating internally that it will be release for the TP2 in November which normally mean Dec..

Well i had a thread about sprint Reps some where....If you depend on sprint Reps then according to mine you will get Win 7 mobile end of the month. Skipping right over 6.5
