I use Sprite Backup and have nothing but good things to say about it. You can pick and choose exactly what you want to copy over. You can copy from different ROM's or different devices and the program is extremely flexible and user friendly.

pimbacks up everytyhing you can think of. hey what if you clicked on custom (where it brings up a window and asks which files you wanna backup) what if you just clicked on "/"? thats the whole frickin phone...would that work? i just thought of this.

With all of them, I suggest first turning off any password locking before you run the backup. I used one (I think Resco but not sure) when I had to replace the phone; it couldn't get past the password screen (said it was the wrong password). I've noticed on a couple of backup utilities they say to turn off password locking first.

I also use sprite back up....It takes a complete clone and restores it to the exact replica....
