For what it is worth, I was at a Windows Phone 6.5 launch party event today and a Sprint representative there said to expect something for the TP2 on Sprint in November... however, they could have been saying that to get me to walk away instead of ***** them out in front of other customers. :)

well if all you are after is the stock 6.5 rom, just wait till oct 20th (for sprint that is) when the tp2 is released in stores running 6.5. then all someone has to do is dump that rom, then you can upgrade to it since it is a signed carrier rom. so don't get too discouraged. if anything we should be awaiting the hspl more than anything

a VZW rep told me o the inside they will prolly have some info later this week and possibly know something...but thats all hearsay

Agreed. :D I have Verizon so i have no clue. But it wont matter I have PPCGeeks on my side :D. lol Just posting this because some may want to know. Its kinda cool Microsoft is thinking about the "upgrade" people as well (on the release date as well).

I have Verizon. If you find anything, fill me in please. Then ill have something to tinker with til Hspl

Bottom line...It really doesn't matter for the folks on this forum. There will be plenty of custom ROMs that are sporting 6.5

Yea dont worry phone will be unlocked soon and I guarantee within a few hours there will be a rom with 6.5 BTW I find nothing different with 6.5 Runs the same
