Well I definitely prefer the usability of WM6.5/S2.5. It's much more finger friendly, and fewer bugs. The tweaks I've done make the performance acceptable and lag minimal, and battery life is perfectly fine from my usage the past 3 days.

You used the wrong package. I know your nickname suggests laziness, but take a couple minutes to read the directions... ;)

I got the same thing when I tried to bend the rules and install the clean .cab after I had already installed a taskbar skin and a few other apps (TomTom, etc.). It needs to be a 100% clean hard reset I guess (as directions said). After a hard reset, it works fine.

I'm guessing you had another application or skin/theme of some kind installed? If so just use the tweak cab. If you can do a fresh hard reset, then you can use the clean + tweaks.

GT2L,

Hey thanks again. Quick question is there a way to increase the # of tabs available for opera in the windows 6.5 version. I get stuck at three and it says the number for 5 is only for the 6.1 version.

<characteristic type="HKLM\System\GWE">
<parm name="cxVScr" value="17" datatype="integer" />
<parm name="cyHScr" value="17" datatype="integer" />
<parm name="cyVScr" value="17" datatype="integer" />
<parm name="cxHScr" value="17" datatype="integer" />
</characteristic>

Default is 13 instead of 17.

This symptom is more likely caused by installing the WM6.1 package on WM6.5, but yes, that's why the directions in big orange lettering says to only install after a hard reset. :)

I don't use Opera, and I notice Opera 9.7 doesn't use the same opera.ini file that it did on the old release. I'll probably dig into that eventually.

Thanks in advance for working on your cleanup for Verizon's TP2. It worked great for the last go around until I upgraded to 6.5. I will be coming back to this forum on a daily basis to check on the release for Vzw's cleanup.

I have a preliminary Verizon package ready, but I want to do more testing on it before I post it... probably tomorrow night. :)

Any way to get the LED fix by itself?
