I'm not sure about it yet. I really don't like 3rd-party solutions for things that already exist in a ROM. I'd prefer to enable the classic WM6.1 start menu if possible... although I'm not opposed to it linking directly to the TF3D style Start Menu (ie. Verizon 6.5 update).

Default is 13 instead of 17.


When i try to edit this it says "write errpr, access denied." Will google and see if I can find the answer on my own - but if not - anyone able to help?

Oh good grief. I was afraid it was something simple like that. I am sticking with 6.1 because 6.5 was just - ugh - but I read through your posts here and gotta say I learned lots and thanks very much! Now on the hunt to make the menus more finger friendly. Bless Google

Overall, I definitely prefer the Sprint 6.5 update. I'm just not quite happy with the performance and the start menu yet. But I'll find a nice balance the more I play with it.

Totally agree, with all the added stuff tho I am not surprised it slowed things down. My only real complaint is the start menu as well. However I did notice a increase in overall speed on the ROM applying the tweaks cab and I thank you for that.

Just installed the Verizon tweaks and running. The free ram is 79mb after the Activesync started.

But, now I am getting an error syncing up (Activesync) and the error is support code:85010014 (for Microsoft Exchange) but the regular sync to desktop outlook is ok.

As I indicate in the original post... it's imperative that you remove any email accounts and re-add them.
