Battery has a water damage detector!

Is the moisture detector on the edge in the same spot the micro sd slot is but on the other side?

Mine is pink and white - is that activated?

On a sprint tp2 what color is the moisture strip before its activated?

I have Verizon TP2 and I have 3 indicators. One is on battery, one is on the left side (side with stylus) of phone if looking at it from the back, and there is also another one embedded below the battery inside a hole that's used for a wrist strap. Others are saying they have 2, Verizon's TP2s have 3 that are easily visible.

can someone please answer my question?

If it is activated you will lose the criss-cross pattern & the entire sticker will become blood red. There will be no doubt in your mind that it has been tripped

but cant the steam from the shower or from the phone being in your pocket trigger it off?

no...never Windex. the ammonia in it. can damage the touch screen sensors.
