Re: First Touch Pro2 on MetroPCS!

Thanks guys for the kind words! As for the pcs registration error, The walkthrough should walk you through this.

"WAP

1: Download Dot Fred's Task Manager and goto services. Stop the CM_Guardian. Then Highlight it and find it in the registry. Once in the Registry highlight CM_Guardian and remove the complete directory.

NOTE: This file is what resets your Sprint connection to its default settings despite editing these settings. Disabling this file by deleting or replacing it is critical.

2: Then soft Reset.

3: Open your phone and enter ##778#, select "EDIT" and enter your unlock code.

4: Set the following values:

M.IP Settings:
MIP_MODE = Simple IP Only

M.IP Default Profile:
NAI = yourtendigitphonenumber@mymetropcs.com
Home Address = 0.0.0.0 (just delete the values and save)
Primary HA Address = 0.0.0.0 (just delete the values and save)
Secondary HA Address = 0.0.0.0 (just delete the values and save)"

Probably because it is. Why reinvent the wheel when you can modify it with updated information and post it in a phone specific thread? Yes it is a great walkthrough but mine is geared towards getting the phone flashed onto the metro network. The original post on howard forums says nothing about how to get the phone flashed over to Metro. Not to mention that specific post on hofo is everywhere.

true, but at least give a little credit to those who created it in the beginning, not to sound like a douche or anything.

I agree completely. Tell me who the original creator was and I would be happy to give credit. Like I said I have seen so many people post that, I don't know who the original creator was.

ummm Logical Evil started the thread it with the official metro settings, Then Denyed beermaster, demon510, berry_lthird, bossman23, fred_dj helped out with it, sequan did it on the diamond thread over there, and I did it on the touch pro tutorial.

I appreciate that alot, I just am one of those people whom like to see credit where it should be given, and I thank you because if it wasn't for you I would not have my TP2 to use right now.
