Ok, another article on the MetroPCS block of non-mobile browsers got me thinking about the problem and now its solved: I kept installing the Opera Tweaks package after each flash. One of the things that package does is change the browser's ID and this apparently caused MetroPCS to refuse to feed it pages...IE was unaffected because I hadn't changed its browser ID.

In the end this had nothing to do with the NRG rom, and I'm (very) happily back to running it full time. :occasion5:

im still trying, however i gave up for a bit, school starts tomorrow and when i put it the ip in the mms server on the htc messaging then it stops working, i've had to call metro 3 times in 2 days to get them to refresh my messaging sevies (whatever that means lol) because after i try to use htc messaging for mms, the mms stop working, even after flashing to another rom, changing radio, upgrading prl! but the refresh seem to fix things so i can use mms with the old fashion way.

For this flash tutorial....all features will work correct? Such as Internet, Text, GPS, etc.

OK i've got a question, I have an HTC Touch (vogue) model from srpint and want to give it to a friend to put on metropcs but they said the internet and pictures would not work if they flashed the phone over. Would this procedure work for that phone as well? any help would be great.

Hey has anyone gotten picture messaging to work? I have got internet but can't send or receive pictures. I installed the Arcsoft cab and set the settings but still not successful. I'm using Mightyrom. Any suggestions anyone? Thanks!
