Re: VZW "Lock" app ported to work on Sprint?

Go to setting - All Settings - Buttons - End Key - Long Press End Key - Lock Device. This lock sucks. When I put it in to my case, sometimes it unlocks because it seems to slide the keyboard just enough (very minimal - so much so that I do not notice it) to unlock the device. But, The lock that I posted earlier keeps it locked. It can be set so that it locks with a phone call so that you can answer, but nothing else can be pressed (no other buttons). I have not noticed if the screen stays on. But at least I do not get random apps getting opened. So, yes, I do have a TP2. I would try the app I posted from XDA - It does seem to work. I have not tried the S2 app so I do not know how they compare, but I really like this because it keeps it locked. It is easy to turn on and off. It can be set to automatically load with each reset. It has a bunch of settings, but I only need it to stay locked. Plus it can automatically lock whenever I turn the screen off which I find very helpful. No extra buttons to push. |

I am totally digging the Verizon lock screen function. I was quite shocked at how much I like it. simple and effective.

Can someone zip up the Verizon lock files so others can use them?

Thanks to the Sprint TP2 guys for helping me understand the lock function. I have been edubicated. LOL As for the ZIP file. You probably missed it in an earlier thread, but I'll be posting a CAB soon. It's being tested. I'll post in first post when it's ready. I wanted more then just me to test it. |
