In Call Flickering
 

Hey guyz/gals, is anyone experiencing any weirdness when your on the phone and the back light is off then on...keeps flickering??? Is there something I can do to fix? Thx everyone

That's the proximity sensor doing its job detecting when the phone is up against your face. If you aren't aware its there,it can seen erratic.

So it's a proximity sensor that detects if the phone is up against the face and when its flickering does tha mean i should keep my face smashed up against tp2? Other than that, i love my phone. Thx for the quick response Domotang

The proximity sensor is directly behind the HTC logo on the top left of the device. If that portion of the device is not near your face it will turn back on.

Especially if you are one of those "take the phone from your ear and place it in front of your mouth to talk" type of people. I hate it when I see people do that!

LOL ... indeed! Drives me crazy... how is that supposed to make them hear better? All it really does is make the person look like an overbearing jackass, lol.
